This is a full-time salaried position for residents of the Delhi, India NCT greater metro area, or those interested in moving to the area. You must be located and authorized to work in India without further documentation or work visa. All positions in India, including this one, are planned to be remote, work-from-home roles. However, to build an effective team culture, location in the metro and surrounding area of Greater Delhi / National Capital Region (NCR), Gurgaon, or Noida. is strongly preferred. No overseas candidates will be considered. No third-party or agency candidates will be considered.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Designer with 5+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities CC&B products and services
- Translate customer business requirements into high quality designs.
- Using business process engineering techniques, develops solutions, and business processes to achieve overall objectives by means of implementing systems or enterprise wide solutions, using Oracle Utilities software products
- Performance is measured by quality, time and delivery within budgeted hours
- Develops and recommends solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure
- Converts customer requirements into quality solutions; owns the detailed design and provides support throughout the development and system test phases
- Records and publishes detailed minutes of discovery sessions. Understands and documents business processes
- Utilizes existing resources to produce detailed designs
- Writes pseudo code for complex logic (without writing the detailed code)
- Works with the Architect and Project Manager to develop a budget for the detailed design effort; Provides high-level estimation of effort for design, development and testing of design solutions (ball-parking)
- Identifies changes in scope expansion and manages customer expectations of scope
- Identifies additional product/service opportunities in customers organization
- Performs system test planning and execution as required by the resource skills mix on a project
- Stay abreast of trends both to technology and business drivers
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology curriculum is required. Advanced degree(s) will receive preference.
Experience:
- 5+ years of combined design and development experience in Oracle Utilities CC&B
- Deep understanding of Oracle CC&B applications and development procedures
- Strong understanding of Oracle CC&B data model (the V, Meters, Bills, Payments, etc.) and data modeling principles
- Strong experience in a package software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as agile methodologies
- Experience in testing of CC&B applications
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with the client and team members
- Ability to travel as needed
- Oracle Utilities development experience using Java, Configuration Tools and SQL
Plusses:
- Oracle Utilities MDM and Direct Integration knowledge to Oracle Utilities CC&B is a plus
- Oracle Utilities CC&B integration with MWM and WAM is a plus
