Ops Data Analyst -12 Month Assignment

The Ops Data Analyst is responsible for assisting with gathering data across Informa Engage marketing services and building out reports and visualizations to identify key insights into the business. Responsibilities focus on working with technology related to business delivery, such as establishing integrations, cleansing data, providing recommendations, building dashboards, and analyzing performance.

• Creating dashboards to track various business KPIs and preparing ad-hoc business reporting
• Researching and implementing systems integrations
• Transforming data into informative visual reports via visualization software such as Power BI and Google Data Studio
• Identifying and recommending new uses of the data collected
• Organizing metrics for inclusion in monthly department-wide program performance reports
• Ensuring data integrity
• Providing support and training to users of the tool(s) as required
• Explaining concepts and data in an easy-to-digest manner for non-technical team members
• Additional duties on an as-needed basis – i.e. Business Operations special projects

• Experience developing visualizations and providing best practices for tracking/sharing data
• Sharp analytical skills and data interpretation capabilities
• Highly detailed organizational and problem-solving skills required, with critical attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workflow to respond to changing priorities while still managing deadlines
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and a positive, proactive attitude
• Advanced knowledge of: Excel, Visualization software (PowerBI, DOMO, Tableau, or other), Word and PowerPoint
• Experience in SQL, Python, R, JSON or Java a plus
