GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE

This individual is responsible for the data entry, data capture and data verification of paper claims and correspondence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail at all times.
  • Data entry and verification of critical fields from images of claims and correspondence in DVR work queues
  • Maintain 25 claims or documents per hour pace on average weekly.
  • Maintain 98% accuracy in data entry and data capture functions
  • Perform multiple tasks independently with regard to electronic medical record and correspondence processing.
  • Communicate with leadership daily on your availability to maintain production
  • Must be able to manage time in a remote, work from home environment.
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance at all times during your daily work routine
  • Ensure proper file types and data security across multiple client line of businesses.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain service level agreements.
  • Troubleshooting of trial and error and utilizing the line of support for additional information.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

  • Computer proficiency.
  • Utilization of multiple computer monitors at one time.
  • Ability to recall repetitive information.
  • Time management and organization of priorities while working remotely.
  • Knowledge base of machinery and processes for conversion.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions and processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Language Ability: Proficient in the English Language.
