The Operations & Supply Chain Leadership Development Program is a cross-function, fast-tracked leadership development program for candidates who have the ability and passion to grow into strong and capable future leaders of Raytheon. These individuals will also be a proponent of continuous improvement and inspire others to embrace innovation.
The Program is designed to create a pipeline of talented professionals to fill key roles that will ensure Raytheon's Operations & Supply Chain will remain a leading force in the industry. Throughout the program participants will experience rotations that provide broad exposure to Raytheon, while taking on tough challenges and having the opportunity to add significant value to the company. Your rotations will allow you to further develop your skills and learn what it takes to be an effective leader at Raytheon. Our program commitment is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and enhance your career development.
Throughout your rotations, your roles and responsibilities will vary in scope and challenges. Your roles will encompass the following:
- Meaningful assignments within the Operations & Supply Chain disciplines: Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain Management. *Assignments are based on business need and availability
- Exposure to our various business units: Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon Intelligence & Space, Raytheon Missiles & Defense, and RTX Corporate
- Accelerated learning and development in conjunction with valuable on-the-job training
- Direct or indirect leadership of teams and/or projects
- Developing a cross-business, cross-functional network that will expand as your career grows - receiving mentoring & guidance from Leaders
Raytheon is looking for capable, self-confident individuals interested in a challenging and rewarding career opportunity. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s with a specialty in Operations or Supply Chain Management or a related field, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the desire to be an agent of positive change. An educational background (or equivalent work experience) in an engineering or technical discipline is preferred, but not required. Copies of transcripts required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a specialty in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or in a related field; degree must be obtained between May 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022
- GPA of 3.2 or higher (in a 4.0 scale)
- Ability to move for each rotation
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance*
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant internship/co-op experience
- Strong commitment and interest in a career within Operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a variety of challenges
- Ability to communicate effectively throughout a variety of levels within the organization
- Results-driven, specifically with the ability to drive results by leading, motivating, and influencing others
US Citizenship required - This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
- This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
