Job Description
Overview:

Palmer-Donavin is a leader in the wholesale distribution of residential building supplies (i.e. siding, roofing, decking, flooring, cabinetry, etc.). Our customers are businesses such as Lowe’s, Carter Lumber, Home Depot, and many independent lumber yards. Our mission is to grow our business through innovation, performance, and integrity. How do we do that? Through motivated employee owners committed to lifelong learning and the growth of our organization.

At Palmer-Donavin, we are not just looking for employees; we are looking for business partners. Being 100% employee-owned and operated, everyone in the PD family shares a commitment to ownership. As an ESOP, we offer the unique experience to work like an owner but commit to a work-life balance in keeping family a priority. Since 1907, our success has depended on the success of our customers and our employees. For our customers, that means delivering quality products and exceptional customer service at fair prices. For our employees, that means sharing the profits of our company.

As a Recruiter for Palmer-Donavin, you will own the recruiting function for all Operations positions (i.e. warehouse, CDL Drivers, production) at all locations. You will assist hiring managers in building best in class teams to meet current and future business needs. You also represent the company culture, work ethic, and ownership program. People are what make an organization thrive. Your job is to find the right candidate for the right position at the right time. Hiring top performing employees becomes a critical component for the growth of PD. Identifying and validating top performers via targeted recruiting and internal talent search to fill open vacancies quickly becomes a strategic advantage to Palmer-Donavin.

Interview Next Steps: After completing your application, a Palmer-Donavin recruiter will review your qualifications and should we feel you are a good fit, we will be sending you an automated video interview to complete. Completing the automated video interview is an excellent way to streamline your application process and move toward a final in-person interview. Automated interviews are reviewed daily and allow for a faster interview process. We look forward to receiving your application!
