Kailani Tours Hawaii is a luxury tour operator that is looking to grow in a number of new markets and wants hard-working, inspired individuals to create even better experiences for our guests. This is a position that will be recognized as a guide leader, a facilitator, and a proactive manager. Experience as a guide is not necessary but experience in tourism, tours, or hospitality is a bonus.

The role is highly rewarding for the right person and is a unique opportunity to put your stamp on the Kailani Tours business. An independent work ethic and a desire to work both autonomously and within a small team is vital.

POSITION SUMMARY: -

60% Managing and Directing. Responsible for corresponding with guides, providing tour updates, communicating with vendors, partners, and suppliers. Train and support our administrative team members and report all operations activities to the general manager.

20% Schedule guides, plan availability in reservations, and work with our sales team to create a streamlined operations workflow.

20% Work with warehouse crew and fleet management to make sure vehicles and inventory are in good working repair. Report on vehicle repairs, maintain supplies, and work with our cleaning crew to ensure maximum efficiency.

DESIRED SKILLS:

-Must be willing to learn from others, to serve our company mission and goals, and work in lock-step with ownership.

-Have supervisory background. -Have the ability to multitask, jump in where needed, and proactively lean into any responsibilities required.

-Be an effective communicator with high expectation clients, guests, and vendors.

-Be proficient in MS Office, possess the ability to learn new reservation software, and to articulately teach new team members.

-Digital design, social media, photography, and email marketing skills are a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
