POSITION SUMMARY
Rhinestones Unlimited (RU) is looking for a professional Operations Manager to oversee all day-to-day business operations to meet the goals of the organization. The Operations Manager is an instrumental role at RU, as this position works alongside the finance and marketing- minded ownership team to execute business plans and to be the driving force of day-to-day business.

The Operations Manager is expected to uphold profitable operations for this creative seasonal small business. This is a great career choice for someone who would like to work extra hours during the MN winter in exchange for time off during the summer months.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process management and continuous process improvement
  • Execution of timely and accurate shipments
  • Problem solving
  • Uphold the organization's values
  • Cultivate clear, consistent, and respectful communications between all teams
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, order fulfillment, administrative, and customer care teams
  • Recruit, hire, budget, schedule, and train staff
  • Manage Human Resource duties, internal or outsourced
  • Support staff with personal and professional development
  • Conduct annual staff reviews
  • Maintain open and effective communication with marketing and accounting teams
  • Manage IT contractors to continually improve processes and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain data accuracy including employee, vendor, and customers records
  • Manage operational expenses to match the seasonality of revenue
  • Analyze and forecast for adequate resources and budgeting
  • Oversee team efficiency and continually work to improve profitability
  • Communicate and motivate staff to reach operational objectives
  • Regular team meetings with owners and staff as needed to carry out job duties and responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Operations Management: 3-5 years of related experience (Required)

  • Ability to analyze a situation and make informed judgement calls
  • Computer software skills: ecommerce, Microsoft office, and CRM systems
  • Experience with Big Commerce or similar E-Commerce platforms preferred
  • Systems and Excel skills and experience preferred
  • Experience with process improvement and implementation
  • Analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience
  • Familiar with business and financial principles
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with an impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

SUPERVISED BY: CEO and founder, Angela Peery
SUPERVISES: Receiving, Shipping, Fulfillment, Inventory Management and Customer Care teams
HOURS: Monday through Friday and regular weekends seasonally, January - March
STATUS: Exempt; 40 hours a week minimum
SALARY: $60,000 - $70,000
