Overview
The US Corporate Trust Operations Control Coordinator role will serve as a governance, risk and compliance subject matter expert supporting the testing and evaluations performed by internal and external auditors, risk teams, compliance teams and quality assurance control groups. Responsibilities also include day to day management of a team, monthly balance sheet substantiation and delivering training on new requirements to the broader group.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Understanding the business environment to help quickly identify potential issues that will affect the regulatory environment
Review, update, or write procedures for departmental processes, control testing and documentation for system enhancements/conversions, including participating in periodic reviews of the efficiency and effectiveness and to eliminate waste/improve performance
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
Provide input to the design and implementation of strategies to ensure continuous process improvement and partner with the operations engineer functions to develop and analyze a variety of systems, processes and reports to ensure the team can meet client requirements
Apply all internal and external policies/guidelines/requirements of the regulators and to agreed service level agreements (SLAs), key risk indicators (KRIs) and/or key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality measures
Ensure the escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate; contributes to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions
Your Skills and Experience:
Solid banking or regulatory background
Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize daily work loads
Must be analytical, focused and pay attention to detail
Works well with deadlines and under pressure
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
