As Operations Database Analyst you’ll act as administrator for software used by operations and laboratory staff to generate analytical data, access and store electronic records, and serve as a resource to operations and laboratory staff on Hach WIMS, Allmax Op10, and Excel. You’ll also create and issue reports of analytical data requested by management and internal and external customers; provide training to operations and laboratory staff on Hach WIMS and statistical process control tracking systems in Excel, as well as complete special projects as assigned, including ongoing digitizing initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree with coursework in statistics, Microsoft Access and Excel, database design and administration and two years of job-related experience in data management, database administration or other IT support relating to environmental or other laboratory data
- Working knowledge of current industry technology standards and databases, including MS SQL, mySQL, VBA, VBScript, XML, and HTML
- Ability to prepare and perform data queries and to tabulate the extracted data into user defined formats
- Working knowledge of laboratory quality assurance, data processes, and LIMS or similar databases
- Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Valid driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Proficiency in Hach WIMS
- Creative mindset and approach to data reporting aesthetics for various audiences
