Job Description
The eBanking Services Operations Coordinator is responsible for processing requests, inquiries and maintenance for domestic and international wire transfers received through various channels.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers.
- Process all incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers in accordance with the Wire Transfer Policy and subsequent Wire Transfer procedures.
- Analyze exceptions closely to determine appropriate processing.
- Follow controls in place to protect against fraudulent wire activity and unnecessary risk and exposure.
- Monitor the wire systems Office of Foreign Asset Control queue and analyze exceptions to determine potential matches. Escalate possible violations to Byline’s BSA Department.
- Review and respond to wire remittance errors identified.
- Monitor the departments email box and respond in a professional and timely fashion.
- Report issues of concern or matters of potential loss to manager.
- Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, punctuality, attitude, and grammar.
- Adhere to Privacy Policy, Code of Ethics and follow all policies and procedures relative to Consumer Compliance laws and regulators and best practice recommendations.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC laws and regulations.
- Intermediate skills in personal computer operation; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1-3 years previous banking experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Usual office environment: with frequent sitting, walking, standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of: eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity: enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.
