Description of Employee Job Duties

EDUCATION AND LICENSING:

High School Diploma or Equivalent / Class A CDL Driver’s License with Hazmat Endorsements / Forklift Certified/CA - Private Applicator Certificate (PAC) Required or Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) Preferred / NV -Nevada Pest Control License as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Adhere to and follow Company Policies, Safety, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Employee Handbook (EH)
• Must pursue and obtain management sign-off for the majority of required technical training (See Training Schedule)
• Read Maps and follow directions
• Follow S.O.P. when delivering and picking up deliveries
• Follow proper manifests and placard procedures
• Utilize and understand Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
• Loader Operator
• Must be able to load and unload trucks and trailers as needed
• Self-Propelled Applicators / Tractor driver operator (planting, cultivating, G.P.S., auto steer & product monitors. (Circle those that apply)
• Travel to remote locations, overnight stays as needed and afterhours service
• Trouble shoot, understand and operate the equipment functions (spreaders, tenders, pumps, small engines, water runs, float boxes, and liquid calibration
• Vehicle inspections – power unit and trailers documentation to shop office
• Dry Blender (fertilizer) operator (Modesto Only)
• Able to properly complete daily log and inspections
• Pick up and drop off NH3, knowing the procedures on setting up and taking out (Modesto Only)
• Pick up, drop off and set up tanks with tilt trailer (wide loads)
• Properly haul equipment with low boy (wide loads)
• Liquid fertilizer loadout and blowdown
• Confined space awareness
• Recognition and report pest infestations
• Promote a positive image of the company to co-workers, vendors, customers and the public
• Other duties as assigned

Variations in workloads relate to seasonal demands. Some unexpected hours may be necessary during busy peak periods.

Required eye protection appropriate to each assignment shall always be worn. Furthermore, it is a violation of company policy to operate any machinery or equipment unless you have had documented training.
