Essential Functions:

• Support and abide by the company’s safety program and all safety initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Report all injuries to the Supervisor immediately.
• Ensure that work procedures are being followed in a consistent manner (Safety, Quality, GMP, MAV and HACCP).
• Able to perform manual tasks including but not limited to palletizing/de-palletizing, applying labels, caps, seals and stickers by hand, dropping scoops and packing finished product into boxes (production).
• Provide detail cleaning and small project tasks in office areas and support areas (sanitation),
• Must be able to work out of door as required to maintain grounds around the facility (sanitation).
• Responsible for following GMP and Food Safety/Food Defense procedures.
• Able to effectively follow written and oral instructions.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): N95 Respirator, lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic information of the position

• Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations required.
• Team player able to work in a participative “fast paced” work environment.
• Above average communication, reading and math skills.
• Above average attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience using handheld RF scanning devices a plus.
• Certification as forklift operator a plus.
