Job Description

We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Nystrom!

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be focused on ensuring that all of our new staff receive a smooth, orderly, and efficient onboarding experience. This role will focus on offering excellent “customer service” and optimal relations with new employees and our hiring managers.

A successful candidate will excel at sourcing, identifying, and evaluating candidates who meet our talent standards and who support our company mission to put quality patient care, convenient access to services and excellent patient/customer experience at the forefront of everything we do.

Job Duties:

  • Leading HR Portions of New Hire Training
  • Provide a warm welcome to staff on day one of their career at Nystrom
  • Show new staff how to access and utilize KPAY (HRIS system)
  • Assist staff in navigating new hire paperwork & benefits embedded in KPAY
  • Offer high-level benefits explanations and help facilitate contact with NAL Benefits Specialist for individual inquiries
  • Highlight HR/handbook policies & procedures
  • Explain new hire paperwork and what policies staff are signing off on
  • Take website pictures of our new clinicians
  • Create new hire key access cards
  • Collect and complete I9 forms and documentation
  • New Hire Communication
  • Send emails/make phone calls to new hires inviting them to the New Hire Training
  • Maintain New Hire Training Roster
  • Prior to employee’s first day, provide clear, warm, through communication as to what to expect on day one and the first week of training
  • Prior to employee’s first day, provide a friendly introduction to employee’s supervisor, Administrative/Operations staff, and other applicable office and program managers
  • Help coordinate new employee’s schedule with Administrative/Operations teams
  • Coordinate setting up hotel accommodations for staff outside the metro area attending New Hire trainings
  • Communicate to Administrative Managers/Clinical Site Directors times of new hire orientations/meet & greets
  • Communication to Administrative Mangers any ADA accommodations request the candidate may disclose in the onboarding process
  • Coordinator/Administrative Duties
  • Auditing employee files
  • Reaching out to New Hires for any missing documentation
  • Sending out Sexual Exploitation forms for all Clinical New Hires in a timely manner
  • Assist with entering staff into KPAY
  • Assist with setting up new hires in REM/PRM and sending tickets to ensure staff’s IT needs are coordinated prior to their first day of employment
  • Periodically assist with updates to New Hire Checklists in KPAY
  • Assist with new hire business card requests
  • Assist with doing E-Verify
  • Assist with collecting mental health hours verification forms for Community Based staff.

This is a full time position Monday through Friday. Likely an ability to work from home a couple of days per week.
