You Have

  • Experience working in an energetic, fast-paced organization
  • Experience onboarding new employees is a plus
  • Strong administrative skills with thorough attention to detail
  • A demonstrated ability to properly prioritize your workload while staying organized
  • Natural charisma and relationship building capabilities
  • Great presentation skills, no matter the mode or audience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Unwavering professionalism and strong discretion when handling confidential information
  • Experience as admin in Paylocity or another HRIS, a plus.

What You'll Do Here

As an Onboarding Coordinator at HomeLight, you will own the administrative duties behind setting up HomeLight's recent hires as employees. You will quickly become an expert on company information in order to answer new hire questions, and you will jump in to lead employee engagement events when needed. As an early point of contact to our newest HomeLighters, you must be a great cultural representative of HomeLight. HomeLight is growing quickly which means that the responsibilities of this Onboarding Coordinator are crucial to employee retention! You will need to maintain high levels of organization and to deliver quality work within recurring deadlines.

You will

  • Be an embodiment of HomeLight culture as you are engaging, kind, approachable, intellectually curious, and collaborative.
  • Engage with HomeLighters throughout their first 90 days of employment
  • Be an approachable resource to answer questions and provide direction to new hires
  • Own all administrative tasks within the onboarding experience, including weekly welcome emails, systems administration, and I-9 verification.
  • Communicate directly with incoming hires to prepare them for their first day.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the onboarding experience.
  • Provide support on L&D, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure all employees are onboarded/offboarded properly and on time in all relevant systems.
  • Manage a successful onboarding process while partnering with the Talent, Learning and Development, IT, Facilities, and Payroll teams.
  • Ensure data integrity of company org chart and people systems.
  • Handle employee information with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
  • Support key business groups with ad hoc projects.
