THE GREAT CAMP ON EAGLE LAKE

Unique historic home located on Eagle Lake in the town of Ticonderoga with four-seasons of outdoor activities that welcomes vacation renters year-round. One of the Great Camps of the Adirondacks, the home has been remodeled and modernized to today's comforts, yet maintains the architectural style of being an Adirondack Great Camp. Ability to accommodate groups of 2-18, the Great Camp on Eagle Lake offers renters an ideal family vacation destination in a beautiful lake-and-mountain setting.

Currently recruiting for proven, hands-on MAINTENANCE PERSON for a lakefront property that includes 5 apartments (1-5 bedroom), boat house, gazebo, and beach area. Apartments are a combination of vacation rentals and annual rentals. This position is on-call and part-time with hourly compensation with availability year-round.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in maintaining building systems and can assist with a variety of projects which can include landscaping, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and heating as assigned.

• Position requires ability to communicate via email, text, send pictures/videos electronically, and smart phone applications.

• Takes personal responsibility and pride in the property condition. Respond to maintenance guests/tenants’ issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Exceptional ability to multitask and manage tasks independently. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in partnership with ownership by communicating proactively, professionally and in a timely manner.
• The right candidate will create an inviting and safe atmosphere through the ability to ensure guest/tenant satisfaction with maintenance projects as assigned.
