General Internship Requisition: This is an Evergreen Requisition, representing multiple similar internship opportunities. Apply here to be considered for ALL Summer 2021 Business Analysis Internship Positions based in the Southborough, MA office. We are looking for interns to join our team based in our Southborough, MA office. Due to COVID-19 work safety guidelines, this internship may be remote for a portion or all of the internship term.

This program will run from May 24 - August 6, 2021. This is a full-time opportunity involving 40 hours per week.

As a Business Analysis Intern, you may have opportunities to work in the following or similar departments:

  • Business Analytics and Reporting

  • Healthcare Economics and Market Intelligence

  • Strategy and Portfolio Management and Analytics

You will contribute to our mission by helping your department complete key projects. Some projects our former Business Analysis Interns have contributed to include:


  • Performing analysis to help support Olympus strategy development efforts.


  • Evaluating market share data in the context of historical analysis.

  • Analyzing territory data for sales representatives and managers.

  • Monitoring success of marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, and team/individual performance.

  • Expanding upon existing datasets to incorporate additional categorizations and dimensionality for analysis.

  • Developing Qlik and PowerBI applications and related guides.

  • Cleaning data, updating spreadsheets, and processing reports.

  • Working across other groups within Olympus to coordinate data validation


A typical day for you will include:

  • Collaborating with your supervisor and team to complete role-related assignments and projects.

  • Leading projects to completion during the internship program.

  • Actively engaging in and adding value to meetings and discussions.


Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution.

  • Must complete sophomore year before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends.

  • Preferred fields of study include Health Economics, Economics, Engineering, Entrepreneurial, Business, quantitative fields or related majors.

  • Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.

  • Must be proficient and have practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, V-LOOKUP, IndexMatch, Nested IF statements

  • Experience using reporting tools (i.e. Qlik, PowerBI, Business Objects).

  • Experience with or interest in data collection, data analysis, and/or market research.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks.

  • Strong, professional communication skills.

  • Skilled in presentation development and public speaking.

  • General curiosity and a desire to learn new material.
