Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Job Summary: Looking for a new addition to join our team! This position is full-time position. The individual we are looking is a self-starter and provides excellent customer service while performing critical office management functions, medical billings and performing credentialing and privileging duties. For the right candidate we will provide onsite training.

Job Responsibilities:

Medical Billing:

  • Maintains confidentiality of information in accordance with the Privacy/HIPPA act in releasing and communication information.
  • Audit accounts, ensuring payments recovered by insurance carriers are posted timely to accounts.
  • Validates claims for billing purposes, ensuring eligibility and referring questionable coding for review.
  • Coordinate with billing and insurance providers and communicate to patients.

Credentialing/Privileging:

  • Maintains local State requirements for files and records pertaining to the credentialing process.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information in accordance with the Privacy Act in releasing information.
  • Receives and reviews correspondence and communications for the credentials function and determines which items require immediate attention and which are confidential in nature.

Office Management:

  • Services as the point of contact for scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
  • Responds to request for information timely.
  • Other general office duties as needed.

Client Engagement:

  • Speaks with clients by phone and helps them match with a therapist that matches their need.
  • Handles client concerns, questions, and serves as the point person for administrative questions.
  • Assesses and designs improved workflow and policies to improve the client experience.

Required Qualifications

  • US work authorized (Required)
  • Must have one year serving in billing and office management role.
  • Must be dependable, detail oriented, organized and self-motivated.
  • Experience in a patient scheduling (one year preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills (One year preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal skill (One year preferred)
  • Strong experience in practice management software (Simple Practice).
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education

  • High School or equivalent (Required)
  • Associates Degree or higher (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Taylorsville, UT 84123: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
