We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Office Manager to join the Mountainside Medical Group Team!
What You’ll Do
The Office Manager we be responsible the day-to-day oversight of non-clinical aspects of the physician practice. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for supervising the certified medical receptionist in the practice as well.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Supervise daily functions of the front desk and check out medical receptionists
- Supervise administrative functions of the medical practice
- Supervise, evaluate, and hire employees to support medical practice
- Provide compliance support and ensures compliance within the medical practice
- Run reports, data collection, filing, scheduling, answer telephones and provides other administrative duties as assigned
- Assist in preparing for audits of governing bodies or internal audits
- Liaison between employees and management for miscellaneous issues, providing updates, and follow ups
- Work with Payroll and Human Resources to resolve issues
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma, or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in a hospital or physician practice setting
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage patients, peers, and supervisors in a dedicated, comforting, respectful and effective way
- Ability to adapt to change
