JOB LOCATED IN CLEVELAND, TN.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS

We are looking for a reliable Office Assistant. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the office assistant will include answering the phone, taking money and finance applications for customers, customer service, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and printing documents. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The office assistant ensures smooth running of our company’s office and contributes to driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Send emails to request more information about orders / timely arrival of product
  • Help with accounts payable and bookkeeping paying invoices and matching up invoices with receiving list.
  • Receive payments, maintain accurate information in files and folders, and other administrative work
  • Close out and balance daily sales for cash, check, credit / debit cards, and finance amounts
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Print out relevant information such as sold tags and invoices / copies for customers.
  • Write / print checks, monitor payroll, and accounts payable and receivable for the store.
  • Keep up with general ledger, daily sales, and payment balances.
  • Take customer service complaints, request parts and credit, and schedule work orders, inspects, swap outs, and reselects
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and some days until 7pm.
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Enter finance / credit applications for customers and keep up with contract terms and signing

Skills

  • Experience as office administrator, administrative assistant, or relevant role preferred
  • Basic data entry knowledge
  • Accounts payable and invoicing knowledge
  • Database, spreadsheet, accounting, accounts payable and / or customer service experience a plus
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency of MS Office, Google docs, and office management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
