Job Description
Job Summary/Basic FunctionDeveloping Success Plans (goal setting) alongside Lynchburg City Schools middle school students. Implementing Success Plans through frequent check-ins with students. Mentoring students during school day and after-school activities. Building relationships with students. Monitoring and checking outcomes.Minimum Qualifications1. At least a second year student at Liberty University in good standing (no reprimands or suspensions)
2. Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
3. Must provide own transportation
4. Individual must not be in default on any federal student or parent loan
5. Individual must not be convicted of, or pled nolo contendere or guilty to, a crime involving the acquisition, use, or expenditure of federal, state, or local government funds, or be administratively or judicially determined to have committed fraud or any other material violation of law involving federal, state, or local government funds (CFR 668.14(b)(18)(i)).
6. Must pass various background checks, including, but not limited to, a check at the time of initial employment and subsequent checks on behalf of the Federal Work Study Community Service Project site as well as Liberty University. Failure to pass a background check will result in immediate termination.Preferred Qualifications1. Previous experience working with children

3. Majoring in Education, Ministry, Communications, Criminal Justice, or any like majorsWork HoursMonday-Friday
