Job Opening: Full-Time Medical Office A/R Accounts Receivable Position
Busy Multi-Physician OBGYN Practice is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Team.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Generate and work reports for outstanding claims for assigned insurance companies
- File claims and follow up on pending claims
- Appeal denied claims to insurance companies
- Answer incoming calls for billing questions
- Verify patient's insurance coverage when needed
- Post insurance receipts and personal receipts
- Assist with Bank runs
- Collection calls to patients
- All other duties required by the AR department
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or its equivalent, is required
- 1+ years experience with Accounts Receivable in a Medical Office is required
- OBGYN experience preferred, but not required
- Computer literacy is required
- Experience with Greenway EHR Software is preferred, but not required
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, especially Excel
- Skilled in basic mathematics
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to learn new job processes and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task with job processes in a fast paced environment
Working Conditions and Physical Demands;
- Ability to sit, stand, bend and stoop for periods of time
- Possible exposure to blood and /or bodily fluids
- Computer use for periods of time
- This is not a remote or work from home position, and does require in-office work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
