You'll work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals every day. You'll join them to listen, then serve, guide and heal, because health means everything to our patients we serve.
This work requires a kind heart, caring hands and the ability to balance assertiveness with understanding. You'll learn to prioritize and develop an incredible depth of knowledge. It's not easy but rewarding- the longer you do it the better you'll get. It's worth it- so worth it.

All nursing assistants at CentraCare earn more than $15 per hour.
Here are some ways you'll serve patients:
- Interact with patients to promote comfort, express compassion and empathy as they heal
- Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate and glucose checks – so we can better assess their health
- Transport them to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time
- Walking – It's one of the most important things we can do for them- and you get to help them do it safely
- Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) – these are things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. ADLs include bathing, brushing teeth, toileting, feeding and more.
Qualifications :
- We'd prefer that you've already completed a Nursing Assistant training course but we're happy to provide training to those with a passion to serve
- Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required

Our roots go back to 1886 when St. Cloud Hospital was built to serve the health care needs of people living in Central Minnesota. In 1995, CentraCare was formed, which today includes eight hospitals in St. Cloud, Long Prairie, Melrose, Monticello, Paynesville, Redwood Falls, Sauk Centre and Willmar. We also have more than 30 clinics, 11 senior housing facilities and seven long-term care facilities throughout the area.
CentraCare has grown to meet the needs of the communities and is now one of the largest health systems in Minnesota. This means we are able to offer the latest advancements in care, technology and treatments close to home. But what makes CentraCare special is not our facilities or technology. It is our people. We live in the communities we serve. We are neighbors, friends and family. And when you need us, we are here for you.
