Basic Life Support Program (BLS) – American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association; Registered Nurse (RN) – .; Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification – .; Doctorate – Nursing/Patient Care; Master’s Degree – Nursing/Patient Care

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our group at Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Crown Point located in Crown Point, Indiana. Interested candidate will join an extensive cardiology team in Crown Point.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have past or present IMCU, CVU and inpatient cardiology experience, strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Schedule: 36 Clinical Patient Contact Hours; with inpatient rounding on the weekends

• No call expectation

• Average inpatient volume: 15 – 20 patients per day

• Outpatient volume will vary

• IMCU, CVU & inpatient cardiology experience is a must

• Candidate will manage:

  • H&P’s

  • Discharge orders

  • Discharge summaries
