As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Educate patients and their families in order to promote wellness, improve and maintain current health, as well as, intervene in acute and chronic Maternal Fetal Medicine issues.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Genetic Counselors, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Advanced Practice Providers to provide care to both well and ill patients.
- Perform history and physical exams, order appropriate diagnostic tests, develop pre and post treatment/operative plans of care, intervene in acute episodes, and perform minor procedures.
Education:
Minimum –
If Nurse Practitioner : Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program
If Physician Assistant : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program
Work Experience:
Minimum - Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience
Preferred – Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of acute and chronic patient/family health problems.
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: NP in Women’s Care, Adult, Adult/Gerontology Acute or Primary Care, Gerontology, or Family.
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
*Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
Physical Requirements :
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Work Schedule :
80% FTE Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
