Night Porter Cleaner

The Night Porter keeps premises in a clean and orderly condition. Pays specific attention to the restrooms for basic cleanliness and stocking of supplies throughout a work shift. Responds to service request calls. Performs minor maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs upon request.

Shift - 2.5 hours Monday-Friday, 5:30pm-8pm

Basic Job Functions:

Keeps premises in a clean and orderly condition. Pays specific attention to the restrooms for basic cleanliness and
stocking of supplies throughout a work shift. Responds to service request calls. Performs minor maintenance duties
such as changing light bulbs upon request.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Clean main entryways and ensure satisfactory appearance
2. Inspect, clean, disinfect and restock public restrooms as needed but as a minimum of twice a day.
3. Police common area hallways 2 times per day.
4. Clean drinking fountains as needed.
5. Police common area break rooms after lunch time.
6. Perform building walkthrough to ensure all duties have been completed properly the previous night. Correct any found issues, report defects to SG360 supervision.
7. Assist with moving furniture moving as requested.
8. Assist with set-up and tear down of tables and chairs of events and functions as requested.
9. Assist with replacing of lightbulbs throughout building when required.
10. Attempt to unclog toilets and sinks with a plunger before calling maintenance.
11. Removes fresh spots from carpets as discovered or notified. If unable to remove spots this is to be communicated to the night shift via proper communications channels. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent work history
• Previous experience with commercial cleaning/housekeeping
• Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction
• The ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding/fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation
• A criminal background check is required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly required to utilize dexterity of the hands to figure,
handle or feel. The employee is required to regularly speak and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach
with hand and arms, as well as include climbing large quantities of stairs, etc. The employee must regularly lift and/or
move up to 50 pound and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
