The Shilo Inn Idaho Falls, ID, is currently looking for a laundry attendant who has integrity and attention to detail to join our team. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, dependable and the main focus is customer satisfaction through the cleanliness of our hotel accommodations. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests to keep coming back time after time. Key responsibilities of a Laundry Attendant include:
- Receive dirty linen from housekeeping staff and separate linens and towels by type
- Perform routine duties including, but not limited to, washing, drying, folding, and sorting linen and terry, treating stains
- Follow all safety and OSHA regulations and other applicable state and local regulations
- Assist in stripping linens from the guestrooms as required
- Act promptly to provide the housekeeping team with all the supplies they need and keep the linen closets stocked at all times
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the laundry room
- Clean lint traps daily, and complete company required lint trap log
- Greeting guests in hallways in a pleasant and friendly manner
- Ensure guest privacy is respected and confidential
The minimum qualifications for the Laundry Attendant position are:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to move to perform frequent and repetitive movements, including bending and stooping
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a moderate to heavyweight frequently.
