Job Description

We are offering a $1,000 Signing and Retention Bonus! (See below for more details)

Pineapple Hospitality is a rapidly expanding boutique hotel management company. We are looking for team members who are all about providing outstanding guest service—this is hospitality after all. We’re fun, a little quirky, and always striving to get better (that’s where you come in). Currently we have ten hotels in six states, with plans to continue growing. If you want to be part of a far-from-stuffy company with lots of opportunities, this may be the place for you.

Who We’re Looking For:

NIGHT AUDITOR FOR STAYPINEAPPLE HOTEL Z IN SAN DIEGO, CA.

Creating an unforgettable hotel experience is not a 9-to-5 job. For us, impeccable service never sleeps, so we hope you’re a night owl. As Night Auditor you are responsible for maintaining our lofty guest standards overnight and ensuring the property is safe and secure as well.

What You Bring:

It may be dark out, but nighttime is when you shine. The front desk is yours so get ready to wear a lot of hats. From check-in to check-out and everything in between, you’re the person our guests will be looking to (and with late arrivals they may be cranky so a positive attitude is a must).

Here are a few of the other tasks that will keep you busy on a nightly basis:

  • Completing front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and other requests from guests.

  • Completing group pre-registrations and blocking room reservations, as well as pre-registering VIPs.

  • Maintaining knowledge of current hotel rates, sales strategies, current special rates and types and locations of available rooms.

  • Balancing paperwork, cash drawer, deposits, reconciling credit cards and submitting batches.

Where You’ve Been:

We’re looking for someone with an Associates Degree (or equivalent) from a two-year college or technical school or six months to one year of related experience. But most importantly you must be a people-person! You will need to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive way at all times, fulfilling requests (even dumb ones) in a timely manner. If you don't work well under pressure, this won’t be a great fit. A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office as well as Opera PMS is preferred.

When You’re Here:

This probably goes without saying but you’ll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. But wait, there’s a great upside: in exchange for your flexibility we offer excellent pay, hotel discounts, F&B discounts and the opportunity to be part of an anything-but-standard growing hotel company.

Signing and Retention Bonus schedule of payment:

$250 on Day 30

$250 on Day 180

$500 on Day 365

Amounts are gross and taxable.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Status: Full Time
