The New York Office is seeking a Technology Risk Management & Governance Associate Director to join our growing team.
What You Can Expect:
Associate Directors take the lead role in strengthening our relationships with key clients and provide seamless guidance in the completion of these engagements. Associate Directors have a solid understanding of their client’s business and demonstrate technical competence in their solution and industry. Associate Directors have the opportunity to develop new projects at loyal clients and also help identify new developing clients. Associate Directors are responsible for the success of all client-related work within their portfolio and manage the success of these engagements. Associate Directors develop lasting relationships within the business community and are respected for their areas of expertise.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?
Experience in technology risk management and/or technology audit, compliance, or regulatory functions with assessing technology risks and controls, performing risk and control evaluations in a variety of IT environments with demonstrated background in applying risk and control, security, and technology principles
Experience with frameworks including ITIL, COBIT, and/or COSO.
Technical experience across all aspects of the SDLC DevOps lifecycle including source code version control, code quality, build management, containerization, orchestration, continuous testing / automated tools, automated integration testing, automated regression testing, security testing, etc.
Technical experience reviewing the work of first-line technology and providing effective challenges to their solution design, build, and control effectiveness evidence
Ability to execute and assess against FFIEC IT Exam Handbook to validate IT risk
Experience evaluating IT architecture design for infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technology and business technology architecture for financial institutions in context with specific risks involving scalability
Experience assessing program and project management competencies for risk management control effectiveness across methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, SAFE, SCRUM)
Experience evaluating key technology processes, such as asset management, issue management, patch management, and/or change management
Previous experience with FSI products/services areas is preferred, including but not limited to commercial banking, capital markets, bank cards/payments, insurance, asset management or broker-dealer
Ability to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries
Supervisory experience of teams including Consultants, Senior Consultants, Managers, and Senior Managers
Advanced project management and status reporting capabilities
Ability to network and build relationships
Ability to network and build relationships at the C- level
Ability to develop timely and relevant thought leadership on emerging trends and technologies
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. MIS, CIS) required
12+ years in a related field required; preferably in professional services and/or industry
Certifications including but not limited to disciplines such as architecture (e.g., TOGAF), application life cycle management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum/Product Owner, SAFe, DevOps), service management (e.g., ITIL) are strongly preferred
Technology specific certifications around VMware, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, MCSA/MCSE, Cisco, etc. are a plus
