New Home Design Consultant & Sales

Welbilt Homes, a Custom Home Builder, seeks a New Home Design Center Consultant & Sales to counsel and direct new home buyers in the selection of all standard and upgrade options to personalize their new homes, at the Welbilt Homes Design Center located in Leesport, PA.

We seek a customer-focused individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, as well experience in sales or design coordinating with a homebuilder

Welbilt Homes is looking for a New Home Design Center & Sales Consultant who will:

  • Setup and Conduct Design Center appointments for selection options with new homebuyer
  • Provide buyers with product information; upgrade options, pricing information within buyers’ budget limitations
  • Calculate pricing and prepare paperwork for buyers’ review and approval
  • Handle all revisions relating to color selections and addendum options in timely and accurate manner with adherence to the cut off schedule
  • Manage the option selection and act as liaison between construction, subcontractors, sales and field
  • Respond to questions and customer concerns from field, customer care, trade partners and contractors on addendum's and color selections
  • When required the ability to work in roles that vary from answering phones, filing and job site visits
  • Assist the Design team with maintaining the appearance of Design Center/Studio showroom
  • Set up and maintains buyers’ files
  • Assist in keeping product reference information current

Ideal Candidate will possess the following:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or educational equivalent required.
  • Sales and Marketing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to react favorably and resolve issues in a positive manner
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with confidence and professionalism
  • Ability to handle the stress of dealing with the public and making decisions in a high-volume fast-paced work environment.
  • Frequent contact with new homebuyers, subcontractors, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Team player; with demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
