VA – Spine Neurosurgeon
The Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is currently recruiting a neurosurgeon specializing in adult spine care but who is also interested in providing general neurosurgical care, with a primary site of service at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Additional opportunities outside of the VA may be or may become available with further practice development. Individuals with an interest in developing an academic practice and who seek to establish or who have already established a federally funded research program will be given preference. It is strongly preferred that the candidate will have a spine fellowship. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Neurosurgery and eligible for a Texas Medical License. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Successful candidates will be committed to patient care, resident, fellow, and medical student education and federally funded scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine. Our program is national recognized and rapidly expanding.
