The Company’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for this position is $140,000 to $155,000 annually. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibility: Partner with customer specific network Directors and GMs to maximize customer satisfaction while driving profitability and occupancy across the Americold network. Develop a deep understanding of the strategic or tactical initiatives within the assigned customers global network that allows for opportunities to be identified that drive volume and strategic value to Americold. Develop Americold focused supply chain strategies that reinforce the objectives the customer is working to achieve and that enable Americold to be the trusted, strategic partner. Become the internal trusted leader within the customer leadership team. Develop an accurate business profile for changing or incremental business, identify Americold facilities that can support the profile, align on the rate structure, and develop the onboard plan to efficiently bring incremental volume to Americold. Provide support to customer and regional operations teams for reoccurring volume/revenue forecasts. Ensure service level KPI’s are achieved at a facility and network level. Provide support to the Key Account Director and Customer Care Manager on commercial negotiations and KPI scorecard reporting. Essential Functions: •Maintain visibility within the customer corporate office to promote being the operational leader and decision maker. •Ensure appropriate facility matrix is in place to support the specific commercial profile and customer needs. •Oversee OS&D claim filing and payment of claims. Work with internal stakeholders as needed. •Oversee OT billing and approval process. •Work collaboratively with BD Director to ensure customer needs are satisfied from a program/volume perspective. Support yield management efforts to support incremental volume requests. •Utilize SFDC to complete appropriate WRA’s to support customer programs. •Work collaboratively with BD Director and CCM on more complex WRA Addendum programs. •Complex MSA negotiations will be the responsibility of the Key Account Director. •WRA rate structure and approval will be provided via SFDC based on profile along with facility level GM support. •Partner with Key Account Director and corporate SCS team in development of customer specific network solution(s) that enables the specific customer to achieve short- and long-term objectives. •Partner with Key Account Director in developing specific customer network and commercial strategy based on intelligence gained from being in specific customer corporate office. •Ensure visibility to program changes that will negatively impact the annual budget. •Drive incremental program volume to meet or exceed annual budget. •Work collaboratively with Key Account Director to ensure alignment between customer and internal stake holders. •Serve as specific customer mentor and subject matter expert on all cold storage operational topics. Ensure customer understands how Americold operates and the impact the customer has on our facilities when not abiding by commercial profile or agreed to program. •Serve on industry, customer, or sector association/board. •Due to position within the specific customer corporate office, identify targets for “tuck in” M&A opportunities that positively impact achievement of Americold network objectives and the customers objectives. •Identify development opportunities, both customer dedicated and major market, that support growth within the sector. •Other duties and special projects as requested.
Qualifications & Experience: •College degree in business, logistics, management or equivalent preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. •7-10 years in operations leadership and/or inventory control leadership roles. •Proven expertise or advanced knowledge in specific customer industry (Protein, Retail, Foodservice, CPG, Produce sectors). •Proven expertise or advanced knowledge in Transportation TL, LTL, consolidation programs, Multi-Vendor programs and is able to identify opportunities for Americold to participate or support customer specific objectives through the use of Americold transportation.
