Network Defense Design Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Network Defense Design Engineer to join the largest Navy/Marine Federal Contract (NGEN) in Quantico, VA. The Network Defense Design Engineer will be well experienced with Network Technologies and Firewall Configurations supporting the Nations Marines/Warfighters.

Responsibilities of the Network Defense Design Engineer include:

• Experience with broad range of Network Technologies:
  • (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPNs, WAN/LAN, Routing Protocols, Load Balances, NAC, etc.)
• Experienced with Firewall Configurations, rule changes and administration
  • (Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)
• Document, diagram and design networks for Marine Corps Cyber Ops Group (MCCOG)

Qualifications for the Network Defense Design Engineer include:

• 10+ years of IT Experience
• IAT Level III (CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH)
• ITIL V3 Certification
  • (Can obtain 30-60 day waiver to pass exam after start date)
• Must have an active Secret Security Clearance

Compensation for the Network Defense Design Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $130K-160K **depending on experience**
