Job Description


The role is part of the Keysight “Network Emulation Solutions” (NES), Keysight Sales Organization, delivering Pre & post-sales customer engagement for Wireless test solutions directly to key customers. The successful candidate will be a bright and proactive engineer with a good theoretical and practical knowledge of physical layer, protocol and RF testing and good communicator that enjoys taking on complex technical challenges and working in a customer facing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Motivation to develop skills in Wireless communication standards including 5G, LTE, WCDMA, 802.11 standards, Bluetooth, GPS and mmWave.
  • Develop & support functional, performance and RF measurement test scenarios
  • Test and debug the full suite of Keysight products from the developer’s tool set to the conformance and Inter-operability products.
  • Debug customers’ 3GPP 4G/5G protocol L1,L2,L3 issues, analyze logs and work with Keysight internal teams (e.g. R&D) to resolve issues.
  • Build technical, credible relationships with key customer engineering personnel becoming a Technical consultant for key customers.
  • Utilize a range of methods to efficiently solve customer issues, including e-mail, telephone, remote access sessions to customer systems and customer onsite visits.
  • Help in preparation of internal and external training material and participate in customer facing training sessions when required.
  • Familiar with measuring physical layer aspect of wireless communications devices using spectrum/signal analyzers and signal sources.
  • Map Keysight solutions and/or create new software solutions to improve customer workflow leading to Keysight solution and services sales.
  • Owning the technical solution development, demonstration, proposal, and delivery.
  • Teaming with sales professionals, divisions, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities.

Job Qualifications


Required Skills

Successful candidates will possess all or most of the following skills:
  • Recent graduate who has obtained their Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering/Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • Experience using electronic test instruments such as: function generators, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, network analyzers a plus.
  • Experience in working with and/or deploying cloud-based application solutions a plus.
  • Self-motivated to investigate and learn Keysight products and the applications in which they are used.
  • Programming skills such as: C#, .NET, C++, VB, Python, LabView or VEE Pro a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task in assisting multiple customers every day providing product and application support.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizations towards a common goal
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident desired for this position

  • Experience working across teams and geographies
  • Base in measurements instruments automation.
