InterMetro Industries is seeking a National Strategic Account Manager in the Southern region of the US. The National Strategic Account Manager will meet the company’s corporate objectives by developing and executing the departmental sales plan focused on key accounts, by providing application specific solutions. Deliver on annual sales and margin goals while providing vision and direction for growth with departmental staff and sales personnel. The assigned territory for this position is the Southern area of the USA (TX to GA). The ideal candidate should reside within the assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops executive annual tactical sales plans for each key chain account.
- Develops and maintains corporate relationships with key chain accounts, resulting in achieving annual sales and margin goals.
- Conducts Storage Optimization assessments with key chain accounts resulting in the development and sales of new application based solutions.
- Prepares and presents assessment reports and quotes for key chain accounts.
- Identifies additional chain accounts to target and penetrate
- Conducts regular business reviews with all key chain accounts.
- Prepares sales/marketing/support materials and trains key chain account staff, dealers and rep personnel.
- Assembles product and attends Trade Shows/Conventions as required.
- Provides clear communication to sales and operations staff in regards to key account issues, spikes, market trends and competitive activity.
- Assists in planning, monitoring, and/or managing budget in functional area of department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years experience in Sales
- Bachelor's Degree a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects.
- The ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed.
