What’s the Job? This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a passionate, cross-functional, innovative team that helps those that care for pets. As a Vetsource B to B Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining several strategically important relationships in our customer portfolio. As a part of the role, you will be responsible for representing and cross-selling the entire range of Vetsource services while leading the customer account planning cycle, ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations. This is a remote position with 35% travel required (during the pandemic the travel/work from home requirement will adjust to market requirements).

You Will:

  • Develop creative customer-specific strategies and joint plans to drive results, based on customer analysis as a part of midterm and long-term strategies
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with Corporate personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary stakeholders
  • Analyze, identify, and interpret trends or patterns in data necessary to assist in strategic planning
  • Can segment and identify new opportunities with high impact and measures the results of the partner-delivered efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

You have:

  • Excellent presentation, and written and verbal communication skills virtually and in-person
  • Technically savvy proficiency in MS office including word, PowerPoint, excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business management or related field. Equivalent work experience will be taken into consideration.
  • 4-6 years experience direct experience in the pet industry or direct B2B sales

  • Flexible, embrace change in a rapidly evolving work and market environment
  • Able to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Savvy communicator and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities

In 3 months you will:

  • Familiarize yourself with Vetsource, the platform, teams, and the internal stakeholders you will be working with
  • Establish a solid base knowledge of Vetsource’s offerings and company dynamic
  • Spend time getting to know the customer and existing relationships prior to being introduced to the external team
  • Have a solid understanding of your customers’ profiles and needs

Day-to-day will look like:

  • Regular contact with your customers to execute strategies and initiatives
  • Working closely with internal cross-functional teams to implement initiatives and campaigns
  • Strategizing business development plans
  • Planning for and holding quarterly meetings partner meetings to review metrics and progress in initiatives
