Job Description
Part-time to full-time nanny position available starting January 4th for a family in NE Portland (Alameda area) with a 6.5 year old girl and almost 3 year old boy. The nanny’s schedule will ideally start part-time Monday through Friday from 8 am to 1pm and evolve into a 40 hour work week (M-F 8 am to 4pm) by February once dad starts his new job. The family is also happy to offer full-time from the start for the ideal candidate. The family is planning on in-person school for both kids in the fall so this is ideally a 6 month contract. Currently the oldest is doing remote learning and needs some occasional help with school as well as after-school care/play time. The nanny will spend most of their time finding and creating age appropriate activities for the youngest boy and helping him spend his energy both inside and outside. He will be potty training as well so a nanny with some background helping in that process is ideal. The ideal nanny will be self-directed, creative, active and flexible.
