As a Munitions Response Geophysicist, you’ll collaborate with other experienced scientists, engineers, and project managers to solve our clients’ most challenging environmental issues. Working with some of the brightest minds in environmental consulting, you’ll act as a technical consultant, providing expertise and leadership in geophysics.
Working alongside a strong team in the Munitions Response practice, you'll design, execute, and manage geophysical actions ranging from Site Inspections to Remedial Investigations to Remedial Designs to Remedial Actions. You’ll develop novel technical approaches for proposals and projects; interpret conventional and advanced geophysical data in Oasis montaj and other software; prepare various Munitions Response planning documents; prepare and review geophysical and other subcontractor procurements; prepare and review proposals; interact with and lead internal team players; travel for project starts and other field actions; and oversee subcontractor field activities. We’ll rely on you to interact regularly with client-side geophysicists and other technical resources.

This is a remote opportunity. Teams of munitions response staff are located in the Denver and Washington, D.C. areas. #LI-remote
Here’s What You’ll Need:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geophysics, geology, geological engineering or closely related technical field
- Munitions Response geophysical experience
- Experience with Geosoft (working knowledge of UX-Analyze preferred)
- Specific training, knowledge, and experience necessary to develop, review, and execute Munitions Response QAPPs
- Experience implementing and conducting geophysical actions within the DAGCAP framework
- Experience with Best Value, Firm Fixed Price proposals
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Professional licensure (P.G., P.Gp.)
- Experience with AGC data collection, interpretation, and reporting
- An interest in occasional travel

Typical salary range for this position is $56,300 to $87,950, and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
