As a Multi-Unit Restaurant General Manager, you will be entrusted to guide multiple locations and team members in delivering an exceptional guest experience, operational excellence, and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values, making EG America the clear choice for our guest’s dining needs.
As a Multi-Brand Restaurant General Manager, you will be entrusted to guide the teams in a single location with multiple food brands in delivering an exceptional guest experience, Operational excellence, and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values.
Both the Multi-unit and the Multi-Brand Restaurant General Managers are responsible for the overall operation of several restaurants or brands within one location for EG America, overseeing multiple teams of Associates and Leaders in their work to serve our guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Travel to brand locations and lead restaurant management in the planning, implementation and execution of merchandising and operations initiatives.
2. Ensure that all restaurant teams are greeting guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated, encouraging Guest Loyalty and exceeding company and brand partner expectations.
3. Demonstrate leadership attributes to include: building and maintaining trust with the store teams by setting clear expectations and measurable goals, holding self and teams accountable, and communicating frequently and effectively.
4. Build and develop strong teams by: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, offering timely feedback on performance and leading by example.
5. Responsible for local marketing initiatives to drive sales and customer foot traffic, while meeting Brand Partner expectations.
6. Accountable for building restaurant sales and gross profits through implementation of the Brand Partner merchandising policies, procedures and programs.
7. Ensure that all restaurants maintain high standards of brand image and are clean, well-stocked, and meet company and brand partnership standards on a daily basis.
8. Coach, provide feedback and develop leaders and team members to create a talent pipeline for future internal promotions within multiple locations.
9. Monitor multiple locations inventory levels, salary budgets, controllable expenses and gross profit margins to achieve maximum profitability.
10. Review quality control, merchandising, safety programs and other guidelines in place for a successful food operation in assigned restaurants.
11. Oversee personnel processes (hiring, training, team member evaluations, team member discipline and termination actions) are handled in a timely manner, and in accordance with company policy.
12. Serve as a proactive leader of the brand operations team, evaluating opportunities and implementing the Brand Concept in additional stores as appropriate.
13. Must successfully complete any Brand related training certifications as designated by the Brand Partner.
14. Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the District Manager.
15. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Relationships: Restaurant Clerks, Team Members, Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers, Restaurant Managers In Training, District Manager, Brand Manager, and various Corporate personnel and vendors
Minimum Education: N/A
Preferred Education: High School or GED
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years leadership or supervisory capacity in restaurant environment, leading a team
Preferred Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Manager in the QSR/Fast Food industry, and/or C-Store retail
Preferred Licenses/
Certifications and Skills: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory, Valid Driver’s license
Soft Skills:
Hours & Conditions: 48 hour work week
Travel: 75% - Travel required to multiple restaurant locations within an assigned geographic area.
Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
