Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will execute maintenance tasks, which require an in-depth technical knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and repair various type of equipment breakdowns involving electrical and mechanical aspects of machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain manufacturing/production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of electrical controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Perform repairs using electrical and mechanical blueprints.
  • Perform pipe and conduit runs, wire pulling, and equipment.
  • Assist plant as needed.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient trouble-shooting PLC, electronic, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • 4 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Associates degree in Maintenance Technology or Electronic Technology is preferred.

Education

High School Diploma
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
