Imaging tests allow your doctor to detect and diagnose diseases, disorders or abnormalities. Accurate diagnoses allow your doctor to plan effective treatments. We offer a number of imaging services ranging from ultrasounds to bone densitometry scans. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, a 236-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala, has the only Commission on Cancer approved cancer center in Marion County. The hospitals offer a host of other quality and award winning services including bariatric surgery, orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services including open heart surgery and interventional procedures, emergency, neurological and rehabilitation services. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is also a Level II Trauma Center. The outpatient facilities include Family Care Specialists, a primary care network of six locations throughout Marion County; HCA Florida Ocala Hospital Imaging Center with two locations; a freestanding Wound and Hyperbaric Center; a Senior Wellness Community Center; and two surgical and physician specialty practices.

POSITION GOAL:
Performs those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the Imaging Department with regards to Quality and Quantity, providing services to all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff. Vocational/Technical
2-year Associate Degree preferred
Experience:
Less than 1 year
License/Certification:
ARRT (R) required
State Registered Radiologic Tech
ARRT (MR) required within 6 months
