Veterans Moving America is a values-based moving company that exists primarily to support and encourage veterans. Apart from the company's founder, the company is made up of an all-veteran workforce and provides moving and moving-related services to clients in the DFW area as well as clients around the country that are moving to or from DFW.

Who We Want
We are looking for Team Leaders to open a new remote location in Dallas. Experience is preferred but not required. What makes the ideal candidate?

The kind of person that laughs in the face of 110 weather and 12-hour days (although technically we usually work about 8 or 9). The kind of citizen who understands that manual labor is the gosh darn lifeblood of this beautiful country.

You know who you are.

But we are also looking for people who know how to use that thing between their ears. You have to have the brain to match the brawn. Problem-solving skills, creativity, and an aptitude for jedi mind tricks will get you far with us.

Finally, excellent communication and leadership skills, a drive to learn, and a motivation to help people are absolute musts.

This position is for our new remote location in Dallas. As a Team Leader, you will be an integral part of building a new chapter with VMA by turning a remote location into a fully operational office with a first-class moving team and staff. There will be opportunities for advancement as we continue to grow.

Pay & Perks

• Base Pay ranges from $17.50 to $20.00 an hour for Team Leaders*
• Great tips average $600 – $1000+ per month! (approximately $4 to $8 an hour or more)
• Training pay starts at $16.00 per hour with training lasting 2 weeks or more. (Tips add an additional $4 to $8 an hour)
• W-2 Full employee benefits (not 1099) with Occupational Accident Insurance (comparable to workers compensation) to protect you if you get hurt
• On-Call Pay bonus of $3 an hour whenever you are called in to work last minute
• Weekly pay (Every Friday)

* You are required to do at least two weeks of training at our main office in Fort Worth. During or after training, if you are unable to progress to the team lead position due to changes to your driving record, disciplinary action, personal preference, or any other reason then you will be given a non-lead position and paid an hourly rate of at least $14.50.

The Requirements:

• Must be a veteran or reservist for a branch of the US Armed Services
• To be insured as a driver, you must have a driver’s license with a clean record
• Must be in good physical condition. Obviously.
• Must be able to work at least 5 days a week, including Saturdays
• College degree or currently enrolled is a bonus but definitely not required.
• Must have own reliable means of transportation.
• Must be willing to take on the responsibility of managing crews, supervising jobs, and taking on the role of a team leader once training is completed.
• Must have a love or at least general tolerance for manual labor. Who doesn’t love lifting stuff?
• Must be willing to help our young company grow by giving us your best.
