Job Description
Overview: PennyMac is engaged in lending across retail, broker and correspondent channels. This role will sample and test mortgage loans across multiple business channels ensuring adherence to internal policies/procedures, GSE’s and regulatory requirements. Proactively report error trends and changes within test results to management. Support ongoing process and quality improvement efforts.Job Description:

- Performs multiple compliance reviews with varying degrees of difficulty as needed
- Assists in the management of 3rd party reviews as applicable
- Accurately record and document results
- Assists with policy & procedure updates
- Identify areas of opportunity based on trends identified within test results
- Communicate test results to management
- Maintain industry knowledge by completing ongoing internal training within allotted time frame
- Develops and monitors finding reports, recommends remediation as appropriate
- Identifies operational risks within the tested process and works to implement improvements
- Assist with test script updates
- Maintain knowledge of Policies and Procedures within tested Line of Business
- Cross train as needed
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned

- Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with investor guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, etc.)
- Familiar with regulatory requirements (ECOA, SAFE, FDPA, RESPA, TRID, etc.)
- Problem solver with mathematical skills and sound judgment
- Financial Services and mortgage industry experience preferred
- Team player with the ability to meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail
- Assist with development and management of Policies & Procedures
- Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
- 2 Year college degree (Associate) or equivalent work experience
