Montessori Assistant Guide (Part-Time)
Supports Montessori Lead Guide in our Nido (up to 12 months), Toddler (up to 3 years), or Primary (up to 6 years) learning environment.

We are seeking an instructional assistant to support the Montessori Lead with establishing and maintaining a peaceful Montessori environment.
Offering support and guidance to young children in collaboration with experienced colleagues, you will be an integral part of ensuring parents’ peace of mind.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the “spark” in the classroom.
- Complete school-sponsored AMS Montessori training.
- Foster a peaceful multi-age classroom environment that promotes the students' physical, social, and emotional development.
- Implement Montessori philosophy and curriculum in support of Montessori Leads.
- Support the delivery of lessons that accommodate for differences in student learning styles.
- Introduce resources, including technology, at the direction of Montessori lead.
- Assist Montessori Lead guide in maintaining an engaging, inviting, and respectful classroom.
- Practice classroom management procedures and standards for desired student behavior.
- Establish and maintain open communications with Montessori Leads.
- Maintain a clean and orderly classroom.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a classroom teacher, Montessori guide, and/or instructional aide.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit on the floor to assist with lessons.
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
