ITA is seeking a Mission Area Professional Controller to join the team at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.
Responsibilities:
- Provides Control Force Director with exercise operational support in developing, incorporating, and monitoring respective mission areas-air-to-air, air-to-ground, personnel recovery, and command and control-in support of test and training exercises.
Qualifications: Must have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum.

ITA is seeking a Mission Area Professional Controller to join the team at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.
Responsibilities:
- Provides Control Force Director with exercise operational support in developing, incorporating, and monitoring respective mission areas-air-to-air, air-to-ground, personnel recovery, and command and control-in support of test and training exercises.
- Implements mission area improvements within delegated authority, and coordinates mission area improvements into unit mission.
- Conduct regular training to maintain unit readiness for mission tasking.
- Collects, consolidates and incorporates deployed unit training objectives into exercise scenario inputs for participants within respective mission areas.
- Incumbent facilitates the integration, oversight, and continuity of respective mission areas across events and participating groups/units.
- Identifies and implements ways to mitigate technical or operational shortfalls thus eliminating negative value training actions and determines how to conduct these activities in accordance with higher command’s Strategic Plan/Charter.
- Provides input to Joint Lessons Learned (JLLS) and the unit’s After Action Report (AAR).
- Position will support planning (Concept development, Initial Planning, Mid Planning, Final Planning), execution and Lesson Learned/TTP development for Red Flag events and other COCOM, USAFWC, and 505 CCW events as required.
Qualifications: Must have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum.
- Must have a minimum 3 years of experience as fighter/bomber aircrew, ISR aircrew or Tactical C2 mission crew (E-3, JSTARS, CRC). Must have attended AOC FTU Course (any division).
- Should have knowledge and experience of AOC weapons system C2 systems (TBMCS/JADOCS). Should be proficient at using Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), TacView, Joint Range Extension, ESTAT and other battle management applications.
- Should understand the capabilities and limitations of AWSIM and PTT for the doctrinally correct presentation of airpower.
- Should have knowledge of AOC exercises and exercise constructs
- Should have knowledge of exercise management and MSEL processes.
- Knowledge of JADC2 and ABMS is a plus
