Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant/Lead Developer - Los Angeles

Responsibilities of the Dynamics Lead Developer

• Aid in new Dynamics 365 implementation projects.
• Technical lead in upgrading from AX 2012 to D365 FO
• Assist in the development of new applications and/or enhancements to existing applications.
• Assist the development of new reports and/or enhancements to existing reports.
• Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Identify and resolve application errors and security flaws.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new functionality/reports, and other post-implementation support.
• Provide orientation and training to end users for all new and modified functionality/reports.

Requirements of the Dynamics Lead Developer

• 3+ years Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations support and development experience
• 7+ years development experience
• 7+ years SQL Server 2008/2012/2016 experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
• 6+ years experience with X++
• Experience with C#
• Experience with integrating various systems and applications
• Ability to lead a team of developers in a hands-on technical capacity
• Ability to lead a team of developers as a coach and mentor
• Ability to provide leadership in technical architecture for development/coding guidance
• Review all X++ and C# ERP related code and solutions
• Manage production and development code branches in Azure DevOps
• Excellent analytical skills and abilities
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate ideas for both a technical team and user-friendly language for an executive audience
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to manage in a remote environment; offshore resource management experience is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology
• Excellent database/query skills
• Microsoft Certification a plus

Responsibilities Include:

· Data upgrade from AX2012 to D365 FO

· Data conversion scripts either in X++ or SQL Server to assist with the data upgrade

· Analysis and debugging issues related to data upgrade

· Provide issue resolution to functional consultants

· Improve the performance of the data upgrade to make it fit within a reasonable down time

· Asynchronous Integrations between other systems and D365FO using Data Management Framework and flat files.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
