Our newest clients on Mercer Island are searching for a wonderful nanny for their two boys who are 2 years and 4 months old. Their oldest is 2 and loves reading. He will memorize stories and act them out. He has been recently getting out more and more to explore the world and is loving all the local parks, zoo, and play dates. He also loves going on long walks and playing with his cars. He will be starting preschool next year 2 days a week for a couple hours each day. He has been very blessed to have grandma and his parents caring for him through Covid though everyone is excited to have a nanny join in on their family fun and become a part of the family for hopefully years to come. Their sweet baby is a really happy baby that hardly cries if his needs are met. He is mostly on a eat, play, and sleep schedule and is taking a bottle like a pro. As a family they value providing a safe environment for their children where they will feel loved and respected. Lastly, kindness is something you will find their home full of. Prior to Covid they traveled, explored the city, and loved finding a good local restaurant to dine at and are excited to get back to doing these things. They have one pet cat that you will hardly see.

ABOUT THE NANNY: They are looking for a nanny who loves working with and engaging with younger children. In an ideal world their nanny will be creative, nurturing, and will put safety first. Someone who has experience with infants and toddlers and understands the hustle and bustle of caring for two little ones is a must. They hope to find a nanny who is punctual, communicative, and trustworthy. This family is eager to find a long-term nanny who will be with their family for many years to come.

DAYS/HOURS: 2 to 4 days a week the nannies choice though ideally 3 or 4 days a week is desired, 8 hour days with the start and end time being somewhat flexible

RATE: Up to $35, though will depend on qualifications and experience

START DATE: Anytime between now and October

LONGEVITY: 3+ years

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Infant and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified and or willingness to do so before start date

-Clean driving record

-Non-smoking, vaping or drugs of any kind

-Clean background check

-3-5 years' min experience in a nanny or daycare position after the age of 18 with similar ages

-Will offer this family the best and complete care for their children with love, nourishment, and guidance; and to make sure the health, well-being, education and safety of their children are never jeopardized

-Will support their boys by providing physical, social, emotional, creative and intellectual play to ensure proper development

-Always maintain good, open and honest communication with parents
