Job Description
This position is with Aiken Barnwell MHC/Aiken Office 1135 Gregg Hwy. Aiken, SC 29801.

Job Purpose
Under limited supervision of the Outpatient Services Director, directs intensive in-home services staff and assists in administrative and clinical activities of in-home services at ABMHC. This includes the provision of clinical services.

Job Functions
  • Provides leadership and management for the Intensive Family Services Program at ABMHC.
  • Maintains a bill-time rate of 238.5 hours annually.
  • Recruits, develops, and retains a competent, culturally, diverse, motivated and productive workforce and pursues professional development through collegial consultation and continuing educational activities and professional licensure in SC.
  • Ensures patients are seen in accordance with their needs; Completes clinical documentation using collaborative documentation; Ensures patient functionality is measured by the DLA-20.
  • Reviews staff caseloads weekly for timely discharge, engagement, transition and follow-up; Completes documentation according to QA/SCDMH standards, Complies with Corporate Compliance Policy and Risk Management Plan, and Ensures timely completion of prior authorizations.
  • Performs other duties as required.

A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.
