Mental Health Clinical Manager LICSW-10 hours per week

- (3195988) In concert with the substance use disorder medical director provides guidance regarding the development and treatment of substance use disorders at North Shore Medical Center. Primary focus will be on the development of substance use disorder treatment in outpatient setting including the intensive outpatient program. Additional responsibilities would include guidance to address substance use disorders on all medical and psychiatric inpatient levels of care and in the emergency department. Participates in hospital wide, community and partners SUD task forces.
Required:

• Knowledge of substance use issues and significant mental health concerns with adolescents and adults. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and families. Intensive attention and concentration. Sensitivity to cultural issues of patients served by the program. Ability to facilitate group communication between levels of service

• Minimum of five years experience in treatment of SUD patients including patients who struggle with other co-occurring disorders. Minimum of two years supervisory experience

• Masters degree or higher in social work ,clinical or counseling psychology, or related field.
