Job Description
Title: Medicine ICU RN (Acute Care experience/2+ years of strong tele, med/surg and or IMU experience)
Status: Full Time with Client (Day & Night shifts)
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: Salary to be discussed during phone screen with Bryant Staffing Solutions recruiter
Relocation:: Can Receive up to $10K to Relocate
Bonus: $10K sign-on bonus + Covid Shift Bonus pay

Must-Haves:
    • Must have an active RN Texas License or compact license
    • Must have BSN or also will accept ADN if: *Minimum 2 years ADN experience in an acute care setting and *Can complete BSN within 3 years of employment
    • If does not have ICU experience, must have 2+ years of strong tele, med/surg and or IMU experience
    • If does have ICU experience, must have at least 1 year of ICU experience
    • BLS
    • An updated resume reflecting accurate job history dates and experience
    • Consistent work history (If a travel nurse experience needs to be prior to 2019)
    • Positive attitude with a teamwork mentality
    • Quick to respond
Nice-To-Haves:
    • Experience with titrated drips, ventilators, arterial lines
    • Experience at Level I or Level II Trauma Center

Job Description:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse(s) to work in the Medicine ICU unit. Full-Time, Day (7a-7p) & Night (7p-7a) shifts available. Positions are available due to expansion.

Patient population:: Critical care. Sepsis, DKA, COPD, ARDS, End-Stage Renal Disease, Asthma, Post Cardiac Arrest, chronic CHF, home ventilator management, Chronic pulmonary hypertension,

Procedures:: ICU – Bedside Tracheostomy, EGD, PEG placement, Invasive line placement, titrated drips, ventilators, Right heart catheter placement, CRRT, bronchoscopy

Exposure/Learning opportunities:: Robust quality projects: CLABSI and CAUTI prevention, Sepsis Management, Proning, Early Mobility, Delirium Prevention, Common Cause Analysis, Ultrasound-guided PIV placement, Small Bore Feeding Tube insertion, nitric oxide, Transvenous pacemaker, Chemotherapy certification, Port-a-cath credentialing. Cross-train to Rapid Response Team and/or Code team. Magnet facility that focuses on nurse-driven initiatives through shared governance. CE Direct (provides annual CE requirements at no charge)
