Job Description

Under general supervision, the Medication Attendant is responsible for assisting Assisted Living and Independent Living residents as directed by a care plan or agreement. This position has the responsibility of providing residents assistance with activities of daily living including assistance with medications according to physician orders. Sets up, monitors and disperses medicines to residents; supports the Wellness Department as an administrative assistant. The medication attendant role is the primary responsibility for this position. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • First Aid certifications
  • Certificate of training for medication administration
  • Medication Management Certification if preferred
